On the LA Times' new arts blog Culture Monster, I caught this lovely two-minute anti-anti-gay-marriage proposition video by Dave Barton of Rude Guerrilla Theatre. I know this post is likely to reach mainly the converted and/or non-California voters, but it seems well worth reposting here, there, and everywhere (to lead a better life).

Awww, that was great! Thanks for posting it.
Yeah, I know what you mean about preaching to the choir. I feel the same way sometimes when I blog in favor of marriage equality. But there's Google and you never know who'll stumble upon your blog.
I have a friend who belonged to Amnesty International and joined all their letter-writing campaigns. He said, "I don't think anyone reads them but I do think they weigh them." I feel the same way about gay marriage. The opponents are out there and they're very vocal. I don't think it ever hurts to add your voice to the supporters. Sometimes people who support something like this are way too quiet about it.
If this were the 1960s, I hope I'd be blogging whenever I could about struggle for civil rights for African-Americans. This is no different.
