Yvonne Conybeare is using stage management tactics with the kids at bedtime. I yell "30 minutes to lights out" and they answer "thank you 30 minutes," etc.

After their 2nd summer at the Teenage Drama Workshop, I began to wonder why my kids responded with "Thank you (insert random phrase here)" to everything I said. To me, it seemed sarcastic. To them, it was art.
