I'm a bit unclear... did Lapine see the revival? and if he did, is the fact that he never says he likes the production a result of editing, or did he actually withhold what he thougth about it in your interview with him?
Yeah, he's seen the revival and loves it, as far as I could tell. His quotes about the show being arty were about the script and score, not especially this production. I think this piece did suffer a bit from a lack of focus, which was my bad, not the editing. Just so much to say about the subject, you know?
