One of my favorite plays, and probably my favorite by Justin Tanner, has just been revived in L.A., with Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry's daughter, Zoe Perry, in the lead (Metcalf and Tanner have a history--she took his Pot Mom to Steppenwolf some years ago, and later romped in the partly Tanner-written serial "The Strip" at the Evidence Room, which I also had something to do with). If you're there, see it, and let me know if it's as sweet and sneakily shattering as it was back in the early and mid-1990s.
