"A Commotion of Grunts and Squawks"

This could be Norman Mailer's first posthumous award: Literary Review's Bad Sex in Fiction Award. There's no stage equivalent of this award, though I'd love to start one for bad lyrics (I've taken a stab before).

    Three of the worst musical theatre lyrics I've heard (the shows remain unnamed, to protect the idiots).

    Broadway Musical X (this lyric was cut during previews):
    Let me drive down that road one more time
    This time "'ll watch for the one-way sign

    NYMF Musical Y:
    On this graveyard of a planet
    Where the zombies order tea

    Unproduced Musical Z Written by People Who Really Ought to Know Better:
    Sure she gave me head
    But it's not my fault she's dead!
