It wasn't great by any means, but certainly worth a listen.<br /><br />One could schedule a full season of little-known musicals and operas by pop/rock songwriters: "Frank's Wild Years" (Waits, produced by Steppenwolf, I think, about a decade ago), Van Dyke Parks' 1991 Uncle Remus adaptation "Jump!" (which is truly a classic, check it out if you can), Frank Zappa's "Joe's Garage" (which has had a production or two recently). "Passing Strange"?
